LAUNCH
The school, works closely with the community and is seen as hub for support and lifelong learning. As part of family engagement, we work with Family Learning to run pupil/parent courses in the school, based around our themes and the New Curriculum.
Launch is a facility run by the school to engage with the community and to offer lifelong learning. This is run as an outreach programme, that supports the community by offering signposting sessions on finance, mental health, housing, domestic abuse and health. It also offers a number of accredited courses including, Domestic Abuse Awareness and Creche Worker Courses written by ourselves, as well as, GCSE and Site Safety course for the community to access work at local refineries and construction sites.
Alongside this the school is proud to have been partnered with UWTSD for over ten years providing Foundation and Degree courses for its community.
We are also a food bank for PATCH. For more information contact Kellie on 01646 685685.
