School Uniform

School uniform is encouraged at Monkton Priory community School. Our logo uniform is available at local stockists Tees R Us. Learners can also wear uniform without the school logo in the colour of royal blue, these can be bought in most supermarkets.

We are also lucky to be supported by Valero, who fund school uniform throughout the year. An application can be made to LAUNCH for this.

Sensible shoes are a preferred option to be worn. High heeled shoes, Crocs and sandals can be a safety hazard, and therefore, are not allowed.

If earrings must be worn to school, they must be restricted to small ‘stud’ type. These should be removed before P.E. and Games as there have been some nasty accidents documented where children have suffered torn ear lobes. All other jewellery is discouraged in the interests of safety and to avoid problems if an item is lost. 

We encourage parents to ensure children have the correct PE kit, t-shirts, shorts and appropriate footwear. During the colder months we recommend tracksuits be worn for outside sessions.
