School Meals

School meals are provided by our Catering Service and all our menus meet the National Assembly for Wales Nutritional Guidelines and provide over a third of the body’s daily nutritional and energy requirements.

The service works with suppliers to ensure that all ingredients meet the highest standard, with no harmful additives. Menu cycles change twice a year and all special dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, milk or nut intolerance can be catered for upon written request from parents/guardians.

A two course primary school meal is currently free for all primary age children in Wales.
