My name is Mrs Jones and I am the Year 1 Class teacher. I work beside two fantastic learning support assistants - Miss Beynon and Miss Price. Together we are Red Class. 

In Red Class, we work hard to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment with a focus on developing a strong foundation of literacy and numeracy skills in which we can build upon throughout the curriculum. We recognise the importance of developing a well-rounded individual so we regularly provide opportunities to develop social and emotional skills, empathy and creativity.

We strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment in which every child feels valued and supported in their personal learning journey. Both indoor and outdoor learning environments are utilised regularly providing fun, engaging and suitably challenging activities to develop resilience and independence. Regular communication with parents allows us to create a strong partnership in nurturing the growth and progress of every child. 

P.E. Kit is needed on Tuesdays. Children can wear this to school on this day. 

Wellies or old trainers are needed on Wednesdays for outdoor learning sessions.
